BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Dr. Capt. Taner ALBAYRAK BA (Marine Sciences and Int. Relations), MA (Management and Political Sciences), PhD (Marine Sciences and Management - Maritime Business Management and Maritime Policies), Habilitation Strategic Management; is graduate of Naval Academy and Naval War College and qualified as a line officer (both deck and engineering). He served 33 years in the Turkish Navy mostly in operations and education and training management duties at different ranks and seniority and served as captain of a frigate and Commodore of a naval division. He also served in NATO Headquarters, UN Peacekeeping Missions and as a Defence Attaché at the Turkish Embassies abroad. Following his retirement from the Navy, he worked as Head of Vocational Programmes, Head of Navigation Engineering Department and EU Projects Coordinator at TUDEV (Turkish Maritime Education Foundation-established by Chamber of Shipping) Institute of Maritime Studies for Merchant Navy prior to his present post at Piri Reis University. He served as vice dean during the foundation of the university and also served at various positions such as Faculty Board Member, University Erasmus coordinator, Faculty Secretary, Head of International Office during the establishment of the university structure. He also served as a Board Member of Seafarers Examination Centre of the Turkish Maritime Administration. He took part in several EU funded Projects for international development as project manager and coordinator and currently in charge of seven EU Projects. He is the secretary of the Black Sea Association of Maritime Institutes. His various awards include NATO Medal for international peacekeeping missions, Oceangoing Unlimited Master Certificate and ACF/ICF (American Coaching Federation and International Coaching Federation) Management Coaching certificate. He is presently senior lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Maritime Business Management Department and teaching Management and Organization, Maritime Business Management, Leadership Skills, Maritime Business Ethics, Marine Pollution and Environment Protection, Maritime Policy and Advance Topics in Maritime Management at bachelor, master and PhD levels.

Buket Aksu graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Pharmacy. She completed her postgraduate education in the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Istanbul University. She completed her PhD. study in Quality by Design / QbD at Ege University Faculty of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Bradford University - England.

She got her master's degree in Management and Organization in Social Sciences.

She started her professional life in 1982, where she served in Drug Registration, Export and Marketing Departments of Pharmaceutical Industry. She is currently the Corporate Affairs Director of Santa Farma Pharmaceuticals.

As a lecturer at Istanbul Altınbaş University Faculty of Pharmacy, she gives lectures on Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy Management, Leadership, Quality Regulation and Ethics, and as a guest lecturer at Istanbul University and other Pharmacy faculties, she gives lectures on Quality Management, Industrial Pharmacy, Management Skills, Licensing and Patent, Ar- Ge and Innovative Sales

Professor Doctor Buket Aksu has many book chapters in social sciences and science. She has a book titled "Quality Design in Pharmaceuticals and Related Legal Regulations”. And another book about Generation Differences titled as "Hop Dünya Bir Tık Yavaşla”
Professor Doctor Buket Aksu has more than 70 published articles.

She provided more than 100 training on personal development issues at the international and national level, she has also participated in more than 150 seminars and training on these topics. In addition, he attended over 100 seminars on Quality Management and Design, Process Analytical Technology, Pharmaceutical Licensing, and gave over 50 conferences on these topics as an invited speaker, and took part in various meetings and universities as a panelist.

She has been serving EUFEPS (International Federation of Pharmacy Sciences) for 6 years and AKSU is currently serving as board member of EDQM and ISPE PAT / QbD groups with international duties, TÜFTAD (Turkish Pharmaceutical Technology Researchers Association), ISPE (International Pharmaceutical Engineering Association). ILARUD (Pharmaceutical Researchers and Practitioners Association) board of directors in national duties. Aksu is also a member of many National and International associations.

BIOGRAPHY

Iulian Antoniac obtained his M.E., Ph.D. and Postdoc degrees in Materials Science at University Politehnica of Bucharest. Since 2002, he has been associated with the Medical Engineering program in the Faculty Materials Science and Engineering, University Politehnica of Bucharest, which is focused on biomaterials obtaining and characterization, medical image processing and the development of new implants for medical applications.

Professor Iulian Antoniac is the leader of the Biomaterials Group, head of the Biomaterials & Interface Phenomenon Laboratory, full professor at Faculty Materials Science and Engineering. He was appointed Vice Dean of Faculty Materials Science and Engineering and member of the Senate of University Politehnica of Bucharest in 2016. Professor Iulian Antoniac has published widely, with over 200 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, 7 patents, several books (like Handbook of Bioceramics and Biocomposites) and many invited lectures at conferences focused on biomaterials, bioceramics and materials science. He is Editor in Chief for the journal Materials Science Forum, editorial board member for other journals and reviewer for more than 40 journals. In 2005, he received the Daniel Bunea Award from the Romanian Society for Biomaterials. Also, he receives many awards for their patents at various international fairs and exhibitions dedicated to patents. He is currently President of the Romanian Society for Biomaterials (SRB), Former President and permanent Member of Executive Committee of the International Society for Ceramics in Medicine (ISCM).

Professor Iulian Antoniac research interests include: metallic biomaterials and bioceramics for orthopedic and dental applications, bioceramic coatings, biocomposites, biopolymers, retrieval analysis of explants, microscopy techniques for materials characterization, bone regeneration, physical and chemical characterization of nano- and micro- particles for biomedical application.

Present areas of research work: biodegradable metallic biomaterials, surface modification, interaction tissue-biomaterials, bioceramics, biocomposites, biointerfaces, tissue engineering, bone regeneration, retrieval and failure analysis of orthopedic and dental implants.

CURRENT STATUS AND FUTURE TRENDS IN NANOCARBON ADDED CERAMICS

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Csaba Balázsi (MSc-1993, PhD-2000, DSc-2014) is a Scientific Advisor in Centre for Energy Research, Eötvös Loránd Research Network, Centre of Excellence of Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

He is metallurgical engineer with 20+ years of practice in various physical and chemical technologies of nanocomposite manufacturing, including ceramic processing, nano-milling, hydrothermal, powder metallurgy, sintering, electrospinning. His research area is covering R&D&I of high performance materials, ceramics for medical, sensor and high temperature applications. He was intensively involving young researchers, PhD students in the development of nanoporous hexagonal tungsten oxide materials for gas sensorics, carbon nanotube/graphene nano-platelet added silicon nitride ceramic composites for tribological applications and design of several other nanocomposites, including nano-oxide dispersion strengthened steels for nuclear/HT applications and polymer based biocompatible composites for orthopedics. He is co-author in 260 publications (150 in ISI journals), 10 book chapters, 9 patents, he achieved more than 4300 citations (Google Scholar), H index 36. He is principal investigator or co-PI in several national (OTKA, NKFIH, TéT, Eötvös, Bolyai) and international (FP7, NATO, NSF, ESA, EIT KIC RAW, Flag-ERA, NKFIH-TÜBITAK) research grants. Earlier, he was Head of the Ceramics and Nanocomposite Department, Institute for Technical Physics and Materials Science, Hungarian Academy of Sciences for 7 years, Director of Materials Science and Technology Institute (BAY-ATI, Bay Zoltan Ltd.), Head of Advanced Materials Department, Engineering Divison till 2016. He got Associate Professorship from University of Pannonia and Doctor of Science (DrSc) title from Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

He is President of Fine Ceramics section of the Hungarian Scientific Society of Silicate Industry (SZTE) and Representative of SZTE in International Ceramic Federation (ICF), Member of Council Board and Industrial Working Group Leader (ECerS), Member of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), European Materials Research Society (EMRS), Bolyai Engineering Science Committee Evaluation Member (HAS), Member American Nano Society. He served as Board Member of the Hungarian Society of Materials Science (MAE), Executive Committee Member of Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS), Member of PEC (ECerS) and Steering Committee Member of Energy Materials Industry Research Innitiative (EMIRI), Brussels.

He organized several international conferences, was acting as chair of ECERS2017 (Budapest), FEMS Junior EUROMAT2018 (Budapest), EMRS Fall Meeting Symposia (Warsaw) with topics on ceramics based nanocomposites in 2009, 2012 and co-chair of WoCERam2019 (Budapest). FORMATION OF THE STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF THE SURFACE LAYER OF ALLOY STEELS USED FOR TOOLS BY THE LASER TREATMENT

BIOGRAPHY

My scientific activity includes the analysis of the influence of laser treatment on the structure and properties of tool steels, corrosion-resistant steels, aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys. The result of my many years of work is a collection of about 180 publications (of which 48 are indexed in the JCR database) on the description of phenomena related to structural changes, crystallization mechanisms and the impact of these changes on the properties of materials. My Hirsch coefficient is 14.

I actively participate in the process of reviewing publications in international and national journals. I have made 56 reviews in foreign journals with Impact Factor, including: Applied Surface Science Elsevier, Optics & Laser Technology Elsevier, Surface and Coatings Technology Elsevier, Vacuum Elsevier, Journal of Materials Engineering and Performance Elsevier, Materials.

I am a chairmen of the editorial board of the publishing series: Works of the Department of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials, Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, 2008-2023 and the scientific editor of 29 monographs of multi-author Works of Student Scientific Circles.

Professor Simona Cavalu serves as Full Professor in the Department of Preclinical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Oradea, ROMANIA and Head of Cells Culture Laboratory.

She obtained an International Ph.D. in Sciences at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj -Napoca, Romania and she has worked as invited professor in several international institutions including Istanbul Technical University, Debrecen University (Hungary) and ISM-CNR Rome, Italy. She is also member of several Academic Societies: International Society for Ceramic in Medicine, Romanian (European) Society of Biomaterials, Romanian Society of Pure and Applied Biophysics, Romanian Society of Medical Physics.

Professor's Simona Cavalu research focuses on bio nano-materials for orthopaedic, dental and tissue regeneration applications, natural polymeric composites for controlled and targeted drug release, titanium cranioplasty, nanoparticles production and characterization, nanomedicine, animal model (in vivo biocompatibility tests), in vitro biocompatibility tests, natural compounds for different therapeutic strategies. She also served as invited lecturer at prestigious international conferences and co-organizer of international meetings, international reviewer and Editorial Board Member for prestigious, top-ranked international journals in MDPI, Frontiers, Springer, Elsevier. Her publishing activity comprises more than 200 papers in international ranked journals. BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Dr. Cihangir Duran received his B.Sc. degree from Middle East Technical University (Metallurgical Engineering), Türkiye in 1994, and M.Sc. degree from Gebze Institute of Technology, Türkiye in 1996 and Ph.D. degree from the Pennsylvania State University (PSU, Materials Science and Engineering-Ceramic Science), the USA in 2001. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at PSU from 2001 to 2002. He was a visiting scientist at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (Advanced Sintering Technology Group, Japan) from 2003 to 2005, and Case Western Reserve University and NASA Glenn Research Center (Ceramics Branch, Cleveland, OH, The USA) from June to September 2014. He was a Technology Research Leader and Underwater Acoustic System Engineering Manager at the Meteksan Savunma (Defense) Sanayii A.Ş. (Turkey) from 2010 to 2013. He also run MSE Teknoloji Ltd. from 2007 to 2010 as a co-founder. He is currently a Professor at the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department at the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in Türkiye since 2013.

His research areas mainly concentrate on ceramic processing-structure-property-characterization relationship, spanning from powder synthesis (solid state and solution-based routes) to ceramic processing (pressing, colloidal and plastic methods) and from sintering (microstructure control to tailor properties) to full characterization (ceramics, products and devices). He has been actively working on device design and fabrication for structural and functional ceramic applications such as transducers (hydrophone, projector) for underwater applications using (textured) piezoelectric ceramics, high and low temperature co-fired ceramics and microwave ceramics for electronic applications, and radome ceramics to be used at high temperatures. He has published 51 peer-reviewed papers and 20 proceedings. He has been involved in 25 national and international projects as a principal or joint principal investigator.

BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Hasan Gocmez received his BSc degree from the Department of Metallurgical Engineering of Middle East Technical University, Turkey in 1994, and his MSc and Ph.D. degrees in Material and Ceramic Engineering departments from the Rutgers University-New Jersey, the USA in 1997 and 2001, respectively. Japan Society awarded him for Promotion of Science as JSPS fellow between 2006 and 2007 to do research at Yamaguchi University. He was a visiting scientist at AIST, Stockholm University, Stevens Institute of Technology, and KTH. He is a Professor in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Kutahya Dumlupinar University.

His research focus on ceramic processing, nanomaterials and energy storages systems such solar cells and lithium based batteries. In the meantime, he is an expert on the synthesis, dispersion and stability of ceramic nanoparticles, as well as the preparation of for energy storages applications. He has three patents pendng and more than 100 publications, including articles, conference proceedings and others. He was also an associate editor of the Journal of the Ceramic Society of Japan and an editor of the Science and Engineering Journal of Dumlupınar University. He coordinated 12 national and 3 international projects supported by EU-FP6, Japanese Society of the promotional science (JSPS), TUBİTAK, BOREN, etc. He received some awards international and national level such as Japan Society for Promotion of Science fellowship (Japan), RoMat Exceelence Award (Romania), SME productivity encouragement award by Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, Serhat Özyar Ph.D. thesis award by METU and best Ph.D. thesis by Automotive Association. He is co-founder of TeknoCeram that is focused on the production of advanced ceramic materials for automotive applications. Moreover, Prof. Gocmez is the founder and CEO of Piltek Energy System Co. located in Ankara since 2016. This SME is focused on battery technologies, especially lithium and solid-state batteries. He is currently the vice-rector responsible for research and development and international relations in Kutahya Dumlupinar University.

Prof. Dr. C. Hakan Gür received his BSc, MSc, and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Metallurgical & Materials Engineering (METU, Ankara) in 1986, 1989, and 1995, respectively. Between 1991 and 1993, he completed the experimental part of his Ph.D. study at BAM-Berlin (Germany); and also, got Level-3 training and certificates on the main non-destructive testing methods from the German NDT Society. He is a full professor in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU, Ankara). He chaired this department between 2012-2022. He is the head of the Welding Technology and Non-destructive Testing Center of the same university since 2007. He is the president of the Turkish NDT Society, and also the founder of the Turkish Section of ASNT. He is the editor of the Handbook of Thermal Process Modeling of Steels (2009 CRC-Press, USA). He was awarded the "2010 Fellowship Award” by the International Federation of Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering. He has about 65 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and about 150 conference articles. His research focuses on non-destructive materials characterization and testing, heat treatment, and residual stress.

METHODS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BULK IRON-BASED AMORPHOUS AND NANOCRYSTALLINE MATERIALS AND THEIR PROPERTIES

BIOGRAPHY

Associate Professor Marcin Nabialek was awarded an MSc in Mathematics in 1999, and, three years later, an MSc in Physics - both by the University of Opole in Poland. In 2007, after defending hisdoctoral dissertation, on"Production process, microstructure and magnetisation processes of the bulk amorphous and nanocrystalline Fe-based alloys”, he was awarded a PhD in the field of Materials Science. In 2012, hishabilitation thesis, on "Production process and properties of the amorphous and nanocrystalline iron-based alloys” was presented in Czestochowa (Poland).

Between 2008 and 2019, ProfessorNabialek has been presented with a considerable number of diplomas and congratulatory letters by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, as well as receivingseveral awards for International Innovation Achievements. During the same period, he was presented with over 200 prestigious awards at international exhibitions of inventions and technical advances. In 2011, he was awarded the Chivalry's Cross - Chevalier MERITES DE L'INNOVATION LABOR IMPRODUS OMNIA VINCIT (certificate no. 11509) - awarded by the Belgian Royal Chapter.

In 2012, Professor Nabialek was awarded six significant awards and medals: "WORLD INVENTOR AWARD" order, awarded by the WIAF Commission and President Korean Invention News, Seoul, South Korea,"THE PRIDE OF THE NATION ACADEMIC AWARD" order, awarded by the President of Tiiawa, handed by the Prime Minister of Taiwan, Taipei Taiwan, (certificate no. 005011),"AGPI - Moldovan National Agency for Intellectual Property" medal,and theTadeusz SendzimirHONORARY MEDAL SPWIR: for his activity in the development of new materials - amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys.In 2013, he was awarded the BRONZE CROSS OF MERIT for his scientific achievements by the President of the Republic of Poland. During his scientific career, he has been presented with more than 30 awards by the Rector of Czestochowa University of Technology.

Professor Nabialek's interests lie in magnetic physics and materials engineering. He is a nationally-recognised specialist in the field of manufacturing amorphous and nanocrystalline materials; also, a designer of experimental equipment and technologies enabling the production of modern functional materials with special (specified) properties. Currently, he is a co-author of over 300 scientific papers, of which over 200 are peer-reviewed papers (157 SCOPUS, Web of Science). He is also a co-author of four monographs and one book. His H index is 17. His work has been cited almost 800 times (SCOPUS, Web of Science). He has presented his scientific achievements at many scientific conferences.

Julia Claudia Mirza-Rosca (Dr., PhD, Prof.) is Full Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University, Canary Islands, Spain. Head of Nanoscience and Nanomaterials Laboratory, Director of Nanomaterials and Corrosion Research Group and Director of Research and Protection against Corrosion - Canarias (IPCC) service in the Las Palmas University Foundation.

She presented more than 50 Invited, Plenary and Keynote talks at International Conferences. For her research she received The American Research Medal in the field of Biomaterials and the Romanian Academy Premium. Co-author of over 100 publications with around 2000 citations and a h-index of 17 in Scopus. She is a member of editorial board of Academic Bulletins and guest editor to several Special Issues in Metals and Crystals Journals.

Her research interests are in the field of the materials science, corrosion of all types of materials, microstructure and biocompatibility of new materials, nanomechanical testing and surface treatments of materials. She is involved in research projects dedicated to Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy in medicine and to simulation of the behavior of different materials in aggresive conditions. Her recent publications are dedicated to the analysis of the behavior of new materials in simulated body fluid (hip and knee prothesis, dental implants, etc.).

After his studies in Roma he joined the Ceramics Technology Laboratory of the National Committee for Nuclear Energy (now ENEA), where he carried out studies on the thermophysic properties of Uranium and Plutonium oxides used as nuclear fuels. Since 1975, the framework of agreements with the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique (CEA) and of AGIP Nucleare S.p.A. he carried out studies on the behavior of ceramic oxides as fuels for Thermal and Fast Breeder Nuclear Reactors in nominal and in off-normal conditions.

In 1989, due to moratorium in nuclear energy activities in Italy, he transferred the know-how and technologies of his research group to the development of ceramics for clinical applications, with special emphasis on zirconia.

He has been head of Research Unit in the Italian National Research Council (CNR) programme on Advanced Materials, ad Scientific Coordinator of EU-funded R&D projects.

On 2000 he was appointed as R&D Project Manager in Tecnobiomedica S.p.A (Pomezia, Italy) working on the development of medical devices for orthopedic and cardiovascular applications.

From 2005 to 2014 he was Scientific Director of the MeLab R&D facility of GHIMAS S.p.A. (Brindisi, Italy), developing scaffolds for bone tissue engineering and dental implants using advanced ceramic composites and 3D laser sintering of titanium powders.

Since 2015 he is associated as Senior Scientist to the Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics of the Italian National Research Council (ISTEC-CNR), Faenza.

Dr. Catalin Popa is a Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Dean of the Faculty of Materials and Environmental Engineering, Head of the Biomaterials Research Group in the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUCN). He is an Engineer since 1986 and, after working as a design engineer in several companies, he has become a member of the academic staff of TUCN since 1990. From the very early stages of his career, he worked in the field of Biomaterials and, later, he created the Biomaterials Research Group. Doctor of Engineering since 1997, Professor Popa was awarded a NATO / Royal Society Fellowship in the University of Nottingham (2000). He was a recognized researcher in numerous research projects in the UK, in the IRC in Biomedical Materials, Queen Mary, University of London, and Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, STFC, as well as director in 29 research grants awarded by Romanian public funding bodies. The Biomaterials Research Group he leads focuses on optimisation of medical implants / devices, Tissue Engineering applications, drug delivery systems and Medical Microfluidics. Fundamental or developmental research for industry, in Romania, Germany or UK is, also, a key topic for the group he leads.

JULIETTA V. RAU (Dr., PhD, Prof.) is currently Associated Research Director, Head of the laboratory and research group at the Institute of the Structure of Matter of the Italian National Research Council (ISM-CNR, Rome, Italy). She presented about 40 Invited, Plenary and Keynote talks at International Conferences. She received several international awards for her research achievements. She published about 200 papers in international high rank peer review journals, her present H-index is 35 (i10-index is 110, Citations > 4040 (Google Scholar)).

She is the CHAIR and organizer of the biennial BioMaH "Biomaterials for Healthcare" International Conference (https://biomah.ism.cnr.it) and the Member of the International Scientific Committees of various International Conferences in the field of Materials Science, Nanoscience, Biomaterials and Medical devices.

Takashi Shirai is an associate professor at the Advanced Ceramics Research Center, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan. He received his BS, MS and Dr. Eng. degrees in materials science in 2005 from the Nagaoka University of Technology. He joined the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), as a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist in 2005. He moved to the Nagoya Institute of Technology as a Research Associate in 2008, and was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2009. Dr. Shirai has more than 200 scientific papers in reputed journals, book chapters and conference proceedings and 60 patents to his credit. He has received 15 awards from Ceramics Society of Japan, The society of Powder Technology, Japan, and The Association of Powder Process Industry and Engineering, Japan, etc. His current research interests are developing of ceramics processing by surface and/or interface controlled techniques and in surface characterization of ceramics powder, for structural and functional ceramics.

Eda Tahir Turanlı is a Professor and Chair at Acıbadem University's Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics in Istanbul, Turkey. With extensive training and expertise as a human molecular geneticist, she holds a BSc in Genetics from Nottingham University (1995), an MSc in Human Molecular Genetics from Imperial College of Science and Technology (1996), and a PhD in Medical Biology from Marmara University (2000). Dr. Turanlı's research focuses on investigating the genetics of neurological and autoinflammatory diseases. Her current work in the laboratory involves conducting exome sequencing and analysis of familial multiple sclerosis and undefined familial autoinflammatory cases. Additionally, she conducts functional analysis of variants in cell culture models. Collaborating with esteemed colleagues from institutions such as Istanbul Cerrahpasa University, Marmara University, National Institutes of Health, and Commonwealth University, Dr. Turanlı fosters national and international partnerships in her research. With over 20 years of experience in academia, Dr. Turanlı leads a diverse research group at Acıbadem University comprising PhD, master's, and undergraduate students. Prof. Neşe Şahin-Yeşilçubuk completed her undergraduate education at ITU Food Engineering Department in 1997. She also completed her master's degree at the same University and worked at Mayasan Gıda San. A.Ş. during her education.

She completed her doctorate in 2007 at ITU Dept. of Food Eng. During her PhD, she received scholarship from TÜBİTAK to conduct research activities at University of Georgia, Dept. of Food Science and Technology, USA. In 2009, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor to the Department of Food Engineering at ITU. She received the title of associate professor in 2014 and has been appointed as a professor as of November 2019. She continues her research and development studies on cost-efficient novel extraction processes for obtaining value-added components from industrial food wastes and by-products, enhancing functional properties and stability of the ingredients through use of encapsulation techniques (electrospinning, coating and liposome production..), innovative solutions in food packaging using biodegradable and edible films and production of structured lipids intended for different purposes.

She has been the executive and consultant of book chapters (one national and five international), 1 patent, over 100 national and international articles and papers, and projects supported by many different organizations. She has received TÜBİTAK Above Threshold Award twice for EU Horizon Project proposals applied as the coordinator.

Dr. Şahin-Yeşilçubuk is a member of "Commission on Certain Food Ingredients and New Foods” and "Compulsory Enrichment Group” of Republic of Türkiye, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Food Safety Association and Lipid Science and Technology Association of Turkey. She serves as the deputy head of the department since 2021.
